Hello and welcome to Kind Nurture.
My name is Cassie, and I am a registered counsellor in Newcastle, NSW.
My professional interest in fertility and pregnancy after loss comes from my own personal lived experiences that have turned into a passion.
I have always been passionate about helping people and decided to study counselling. Whilst studying I have encountered many life challenges, including divorce, job loss, recurrent miscarriages, pregnancy after loss, ectopic pregnancy, and coming to terms with my mental health issues of depression and anxiety. I blamed myself for what had happened leaving me feeling exhausted and alone.
Encountering these life changes, I found the support of counselling invaluable.
Throughout my journey, I had to learn to be kind to myself and nurture my health and well-being. This is why I decided to create “Kind Nurture” counselling.
You are not alone.
I am here to guide and support you as you walk this path.
In the first session, I will discuss my approach to therapy with you and how I can best guide you. I’m passionate about offering a space where you can openly explore the challenges you are facing along with your feelings. I want to know you and your story. You will be heard and provided a safe place to explore and share your fears and worries.
I understand that life can be challenging and sometimes we need extra support to overcome our obstacles.
I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings and work towards your goals.
No matter what you're going through, I'm here to support you.
My role is to step you every way through this journey. I as your professional counsellor will create a plan for you of where you want to be that is nurturing and supportive whilst you achieve your own goals.
Face-to-face sessions are suitable if you want to be in a room. This time is spent hearing you and guiding you through difficult times. I will support you on how to move forward.
